Ooh, Switzerland is beautiful :noes:

Especially in Plaffeien, a small village above Fribourg.
When there's fog in Fribourg you drive up out of it and into the village and the mountains, and it's... beautiful.

If you like skiing or want to try paragliding I'd suggest visiting Schwarzsee, it's beautiful there too.
I haven't travelled far and wide there, but I've been to a couple of spots.

I cant ski or paraglide. I just go snowshoeing! I've only traveled out of the United States a few times, Canada, North Dakota, Scotland, and England.

I can't ski. I get worse every time.
When you go paragliding you go with a trained professional, and you glide down the mountain after taking a running start and just sit, whilst he does the steering.
And then you land on a frozen lake. If you go in the middle of winter.

I've been to... nine countries!
England, Scotland, Wales, France, Holland, Denmark, Switzerland, Germany and Australia.
And then I live in Iceland!

I dont think I could do that. The whole, y'know, feet off the ground idea.
My sister's been to 9 countries too! And publicly urinated in each (she's very proud of this fact)

Ah, gotcha.
I'm extremely terrified of heights if I haven't got something to hold on to/stop me from falling.
Like um, I could be on top of a very high cliff if there was a fence I could lean on to, but if there was no fence I wouldn't go within ten meters of the edge.

I think that's the only reason I could paraglide, because there was a guy controlling the whole thing so I didn't have to worry, he's been doing it for years.

:XD:

ah, see even that would freak me out. I could barely look out of the Smith Tower (which was once the tallest building in the United States. Quite possibly in the 20s) and I was safe because of windows
