1. Svetlana sits outside of a café, alone.
2. Lau stands behind her, a sprig of Hemlock in his hand. She doesn't even notice him.

1. Lau looks at the sprig in the apartment.
Lau: Will this really work?
Eugene: Yes. Witches are… allergic to hemlock… it paralysis them.
2. Lau picks up the curved blade as well.
Lau: And this?
3. Eugene stands on the other side of the table from him, he looks almost normal.
Eugene: You need to cut out the heart with that… it's made of silver and a lot of creatures… have an aversion to that. Once the heart… has been cut out it has to be burned.
4. Eugene points at the jar of glowing greenish goo.
Eugene: Now it's time for this… Do everything I say, this will allow me to… talk to you while you're there and see through… your eyes.

1. Lau stands directly behind Svetlana, the sprig raised above her head. Her eyes are wide and inhuman.
2. She turns, snarling at Lau.
3. She runs off, the chair falling to the ground behind her.
Lau: Shit!

1. Oisin stands, eyes closed, the green goo on his eyelids and temples.
Oisin: So, what is this, exactly?
2. Eugene snaps his fingers.
Eugene: It's ectoplasm. Not mine, of course, I wouldn't be able to put it in a jar or anything.
3. Oisin looks at him, disgusted.
Oisin: But you said I can't help kill her.
4. Eugene shrugs.
Eugene: I don't want you to and I hope you don't. Regardless, Lau is going to need some back up here. You're just going to be there for another angle and to make sure he's alright.

1. Svetlana runs down a dark street, terrified.
Eugene: Do not follow! I repeat! Do not follow!
2. Oisin joins in running after her.
3. He grabs his chest.
4. She looks over her shoulder in a panic.

1. Oisin passes Lau, carrying his own sprig of hemlock.
Lau: Oisin! No!
2. Svetlana runs amongst some houses.
3. She pulls the door to an abandoned looking house open.
Eugene: Don't go in there!
4. Oisin flings open the door.
5. His eyes go wide.

1. Svetlana stands beside KOSTYA (19, tall, dark hair in a ponytail, Russian) in the only spot of light in the room.
Eugene: Shit. There's two of them?
Page 8
1. Oisin holds the hemlock in front of him, as if it would help in some way.
2. Svetlana and Kostya face's shift.
3. They stand together in their true form, disgusting and pot bellied, tattoos carves into them and black blood dripping from their eyes and mouths.
4.They rush towards Oisin.
Eugene: Go! Get out of there now! Get out!
2. Red.
3. Oisin lies on the floor, bleeding from all of his orifices.
4. The witches bend down over him, their long fingers reaching for him.
5. The witches have sharp, needle-like teeth.

1. Oisin winces.
Oisin: Why?
2. The witches reel back, clutching their heads.
3. Oisin sits up, watching the display.
4. A smile creeps across his face.
Eugene: Good! Every time you ask them a question they age a year! Otherwise they live indefinitely!

1. Oisin stands.
Oisin: How are you today?
2. The witches hide their faces, contorting in pain.
3. Oisin grits his teeth.
Oisin: What's up?
4. Svetlana grits her teeth.

1. Lau stands in the doorway, breathing heavily.
Lau: I really need to get in better shape.
2. Oisin grabs Svetlana's chin, pulling her face towards his. She looks quite a bit older.
Oisin: Did you eat Miranda's daughter?
3. She grits her teeth.
Svetlana: Your little girlfriend? I can smell her on your lips. I can say this… no. I have eaten nothing that smelled like that.
4. He presses the hemlock to her forehead, causing her to scream.

1. The place where the hemlock touches turns gray.
2. It spreads across her face and down, as she basically turns into a statue.
3. She stands in the same position as Oisin steps back away from her, the gray going down her nude torso.

1. Kostya knocks Oisin to the ground.
2. Oisin's face smacks into the cement floor.
3. Black.
4. Everything is blurred and doubled.
Eugene: Come on, Oisin! Get up! Get up!
5. Kostya and Lau wrestle in the doorway.

1. Oisin pulls himself to his feet.
2. Kostya seems to be winning against Lau.
3. The sprig of hemlock lies on the ground beside Lau.
4. There are cuts all over Lau's face and clothes.

1. Oisin grabs Kostya's shoulder.
Oisin: Was it you?
2. Kostya reels away from Lau, grabbing his head.
Kostya: No! No more questions!
3. Kostya is still a bit of a blur and Oisin's head is pulsing red now.
Oisin: Then tell me.
4. Kostya turns to him.
Kostya: No.

1. Oisin picks up the sprig of hemlock.
Oisin: Tell me who did then…
2. Kostya puts up his hands, surrendering.
Kostya: I don't know! Please! I don't know.
3. Oisin presses the hemlock against his face.

1. Oisin helps Lau up off of the ground.
Lau: Thanks.
2. Oisin crosses his arms.
Oisin: If they didn't do it, who did?
Lau: You heard what Miranda had said?
3. Oisin looks at Kostya.
Oisin: Yeah, I didn't want her to know I heard, but I did.
4. They both look up slightly.
Eugene: Will you going to cut their hearts out, already? It's almost the witching hour and they'll be able to move again.

1. Oisin smiles at Lau.
Oisin: Well? You're the one with the knife.
2. Lau rolls his eyes.
Lau: Yeah, yeah.
3. He stabs it into Kostya's chest.
Lau: Of course I get to do all of the dirty work.

1. Two hearts sit together, side by side.
Lau: Did you bring anything to burn them with?
Oisin: What? I came as backup, remember?
2. Lau lights a cigarette.
Lau: You've heard the boy scout motto, right?
3. He smokes, Oisin looks uncomfortable.
Oisin: Yeah, always be prepared.
4. Lau plays with his zippo.

1. He opens it up.
Lau: That's right. Always be prepared.
2. He dumps the fuel onto the gray hearts.
3. He leans forward, lighting the fuel with his cigarette.
4. The hearts light.
Lau: Always be prepared…

1. The blood in the apartment goes down and the veins start to recede.
2. Miranda looks around as the veins around her retreat towards the bathroom.
Miranda: What's going on? Why is it leaving?
3. The veins vanish from the bathroom.

1. Eugene smiles.
Eugene: They did it. The witch is dead.
2. The blood on Oisin's face fades away.
3. He stops clutching his chest.
Oisin: There. It's all over.

1. Lau smiles at him.
Lau: It is for now. Trust me, there is no such thing as over. I've learned that much in this line of duty.
2. He breathes out smoke.
Lau: You want to go get a drink?
