Page 1
1. A blood red sky sits heavily over New York City.
2. The black buildings curve strangely towards the sky, blood dripping down their lengthy bodies.

1. A child points at one of the buildings, crying and clinging to his mother.
2. Cars stop, swerving and littering the road as their drivers stare.
3. People crowd around outside, staring at the strangeness of their world.

1. Oisin and Chagon stare out the window at it.
Chagon: What is this?
Oisin: Witches.
2. Oisin grab his phone, Chagon staring at him.
Chagon: Witches? What did you do to piss them off this badly?
3. Oisin calls Lau.
Oisin: I helped to kill two of them.
4. He holds the phone up to his ear.
Oisin:
Lau? Are you seeing this crazy shit too?
Page 4
1. Lau stands in front of the hospital, both of his arms still in casts.
Lau: Yeah, and my phone wont stop ringing. It's those damn witches! This is some sort of crazy revenge.
2. Oisin looks surprised, one eyebrow raised.
Oisin: Wait. You know about the witches?
3. Lau rolls his eyes.
Lau: I've been getting strange letters in my hospital room. The signatures were in Russian. I'm a detective, I figured it out.
4. Oisin nods.
Oisin: I've been getting the letters too.

1. Eugene lies on the ground, in a fetal position, trying to heal.
Lau: What does Eugene say we should do?
Oisin: Nothing.
2. He sits beside Eugene's unconscious body.
Oisin: He's not going to be of any good in this.
3. Lau leans forward, awkwardly trying to smoke a cigarette.
Lau: Shit. What happened?
4. Oisin glances over at Chagon, who still stares out the window.
Oisin: Remember that mess in the park? It was a wendigo, he's here.
5. Lau's eyes go wide.
Lau: What?
6. Oisin puts his finger to his lips.
Oisin: I know, I know! Shh! We need to take care of this, before it get's too over the top.

1. Lau looks to the sky.
Lau: Too? It already is!
2. Oisin pulls himself to his feet.
Oisin: Where can I meet you?
3. Oisin and Chogan walk into the police department, bundled up, black snow on their shoulders.
Lau: Meet me at the police station.

1. Lau hurries over to them, not having pulled off any of his snow gear. There's sweat on his face.
Lau: You ready?
2. The commissioner glares at him.
Commissioner: Where are you off to, Lau? We need you here!
3. Lau flashes him an apologetic smile.
Lau: Sorry, sir, I've got a lead to follow!
4. The commissioner drops his eyebrows.
5. Oisin holds the door open for him.
Lau: It's probably nothing. Anyway, it's not like I'm any use to you here!

1. They stare into the blood red sky as the oversized moon starts to rise, red veins along it.
Lau: This can't just be one witch.
Page 9
1. Oisin grabs Chagon's shoulder.
Oisin: You said you had overheard the witches talking about us, where was that?
2. Chagon looks at him, somewhat afraid.
Chagon: Uh, this way.
3. They follow Chagon through the streets.
Page 10
1. Chagon darts between some buildings, Lau and Oisin chasing behind him.
2. He rushes down an alleyway.
3. They run down the street, the moon fully risen, a large, violet eye with a cross shaped pupil.

1. They stop in front of a normal door.
Lau: How did you find this place?
Chagon: I told someone about my problem. They took me here.
2. He knocks on the door three times.
Chagon: They said someone here would know how to deal with it.
3. He knocks twice more.
Chagon: But they just kept telling me to embrace it, to let it take over.
4. The door opens on it's own, revealing stairs going down into darkness.

1. They go down them.
Chagon: Whatever happens, don't let anyone know you're human. They don't like normal people down here.
2. The stairs seem to go on forever.

1. At the bottom is a white door.
2. Chagon sighs as he puts his hand on it.
3. He turns the knob.
4. The door opens.
5. Oisin's eyes go wide.
Oisin: Well, shit.

1. There's a huge table set down the middle of a huge room, fantastical and grotesque creatures sitting all the way down it. They all stare at the newcomers.

1. Lau puts his hand lightly on Oisin's shoulder, making him jump.
Lau: Act natural.
2. Oisin looks back, his eyes wide as he stares at Lau.
3. Lau smiles, slightly.
Lau: It'll be okay.
4. Oisin looks around the room.
Oisin: Do you think any of them know about Kelly?
5. Lau walks into the room, looking over his shoulder back at Oisin
Lau: Possibly, but I'd wait to ask that. One thing at a time, you know?

1. Oisin follows Lau through the room, staring at all of the creatures watching him.
2. A young woman, slightly shimmering looks at Lau, a pitcher of beer in her hands.
Woman: Can I help you?
3. Lau surprises her by the taking the beer from her, leaning over her.
Lau: Actually, I believe you can. I'm looking for a few witches. Have you seen the sky outside?
4. She blushes, her face close to his.
Woman: The sky?

1. Lau smiles at her.
Lau: Yeah, you know, the sky?
2. She takes the pitcher back from him, shaking the blush from her face.
Woman: No, I'm not able to leave here. Some of us are just too different.
3. He grabs her butt, softly.
Lau: I wouldn't say you're that different.
4. She straightens up, shocked.
5. Lau takes his hands back, surrendering.
Lau: Oh! Sorry!

1. She glares at him.
Lau: Really! I meant nothing by it!
2. She sets the pitcher down by some ogres.
Woman: I'll make you a deal, okay? There are a lot of witches around here and they haven't been quiet about what they're planning.
3. She holds out her hand.
Woman: If you can get me outside to see what's out there, even for five minutes, I'll tell you everything I know.
4. Lau shakes her hand.
Lau: It's a deal.
Page 19
1. He walks back to Oisin, who still looks nervous.
Lau: Well? How was that?
Oisin: Too easy.
2. Oisin looks over Lau's shoulder at the woman.
Oisin: She shouldn't have made such a simple deal. Why can't she go outside?
3. Lau crosses his arms.
Lau: I don't know and I don't care.
4. The woman smiles at them from over her shoulder, black lines under her eyes as if she'd been crying mascara.

1. She goes into the back room.
Oisin: What is she up to?
2. Lau smiles, standing beside a fidgety Oisin.
Lau: She's probably asking her boss for a break. No biggy.
3. Chagon looks uncomfortable. Lau looks at him.
Lau: What's with you? You've been here before, you should be more comfortable than either one of us.
4. Chagon stares at him.
Chagon: You're a cop!
Lau: Yes…
Chagon: You know what I did?

1. Lau smiles, but there's only menace.
Lau: Yes, I know, you sick fuck, but I need you right now, so you're going to play by my rules.
2. Oisin puts a hand on his shoulder.
Oisin: Hey! His body did the crime, not his mind. He's got a wendigo inside of him!
3. Lau snarls at him.
Lau: That doesn't matter! There are two people butchered because of him! I have to take him in.
4. He hand a bottle of pills to Oisin.
Lau: Can you get me one of these? All this movements hurting my shoulders.
5. Oisin opens the pill bottle.
Lau: I won't arrest you, not until this whole mess is cleaned up.

1. The woman pushes aside a curtain.
Woman: Madam Yaga.
2. An ancient looking witch sits in the corner of a messy shed, her eyes small and beady.
Baba Yaga: My daughter.
3. The woman points back outside.
Woman: The men, Moore and Lau, are here.
4. Baba Yaga's eyes open more, as if she is surprised.
Baba Yaga: What fools! Surely they know that we plan to kill them!
5. The woman smiles.
Woman: Of course! They want me to tell them our plans, they don't even know what I am.

1. Baba Yaga smiles.
Baba Yaga: That is because of your beauty, my daughter. They are entranced by it.
2. The woman curtsies.
Woman: Thank you, Madam Yaga.
3. Baba Yaga nods.
Baba Yaga: Go with them, do not let them know you are one of us. We will take care of everything.
4. The woman turns to leave.
Woman: Yes, Madam Yaga.

1. She returns to the three.
Woman: My apologies! I had to speak to my mother a moment.
Lau: Your mother?
Woman: Yes, she's very ill. I have to check on her quiet frequently.
2. She smiles, perfectly naïve and sweet.
Woman: Well? Shall we?
I dont think Lau is actually sorry at all. I think he meant to grab her booty!
