Glowing Girl chp 22Chapter 22Ravien's feet beat the ground hard, the sound of it reverberating off of the walls of nearby buildings. Mira had no footsteps, her feet still floating an inch about the ground. He'd never get used to that. That or her strange glow. They had to get to Eradin. If he was still alive they had no choice but to help him. He'd saved Ravien's life and he had sworn he would pay him back. Rescuing Mira wasn't enough. That was just him paying for taking her away in the first place, even though he had felt in the right originally. He could be lying there, dying, in need of someone to be beside him. He could be dead, but Ravien didn't believe that. He had only fallen two stories, unless he landed very wrong, he would be alive. There would be some broken bones but he would be alive. They rounded the corner, just feet away from where Eradin had landed, must have landed. The road was empty. There was no body, no Eradin to be seen!Had the guards already found him, already dragged him away?
